They met at the Windsor and fell in love. And as they say, the rest is history.
On Saturday, June 30th, 2012, Melanie and Stuart made it official and said “I do” at Stu’s family farm in Vankleek Hill. It was a hot and beautiful summer day and the bride arrived on horse and buggy with her father to a full crowd of just under 200 guests. Mel was stunning in a long white, strapless gown carrying white orchids as her bouquet. Her 7 attendants wore long, buttercup dresses and carried a classic, single calla lily. The groomsmen were dashing in their black suits with yellow vests.
The ceremony was beautiful and the couple was surrounded by the love of their friends and family. A reception was held at St. Bernardin, with speeches and a slideshow that really told the story of the newlyweds.
I wish them all the best and thank them both for entrusting their memories with me. It was a pleasure to have them as my first wedding couple!
